OMBRE POWDER BROWS
Ombre Shading is a soft shading technique using a digital machine to create pixelated dots throughout the brows. This style is great for anyone who wants a subtle enhancement of their eyebrows with a natural makeup-like finish. The tails are typically darker and become lighter with a gradient towards the front. This method heals with a beautiful blend and is suitable for all skin types.

Precare
-
Avoid working out on the same day of your procedure.
-
Do not drink coffee, alcohol or energizing drinks 48 hours before treatment. Failure to do so will result in increased bleeding and the anesthetic will not be as effective.
-
Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Ibuprofen 48 hours before treatment. No blood thinning medications or painkillers. All daily medications should be reported to avoid unexpected surprises.
-
If possible, exfoliate the brow area a week before your procedure.
-
It is much better to wait until you are in good health. If you know you're going to be taking antibiotics, we recommend waiting at least 1 week after the last dose of medication before getting your tattoo, and never attempt to get a tattoo while sick if the risk of spreading infection is high.
-
Avoid sun exposure and tanning 1 week before your procedure.
-
No facials or chemical peels 1 week before your procedure.
-
No brow waxing, tinting, and electrolysis 1 week before your procedure.
-
Avoid using any Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products close to the eyebrow area 2 weeks before your procedure. Moisturizers, face washes, BB/CC creams and makeup primers may contain acid.
-
No Latisse on the brow area 3 weeks before and after your procedure.
-
Avoid Glycolics, Chemical Peels and Retin-A 4 weeks before your procedure.
-
No Botox 1 month before procedure
-
Any blemishes, pimples, or medical skin condition in the brow region will be sent home as there is increased risk of infection. Please always check a few days closer to the appointment.
-
No Accutane or acne medication for 1 year. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Aftercare
-
Everyone heals and accepts pigment differently. Please be patient as it is normal to need two to three sessions to achieve the desired results.
-
Gently pat your brows dry with clean tissue for the first 24 hours to get rid of blood or plasma.
-
Avoid getting your brows wet as this can cause premature scabbing and leaching of ink out of your skin.
-
Apply a thin layer of ointment once a day starting on the third day and every evening after until peeling has completed.
-
Always remember to wash your hands before touching the treated site.
-
NO SCRUBBING, SCRATCHING, OR PICKING the treated site to avoid pigment loss and scarring.
-
No heavy sun exposure and absolutely no sweating for a minimum of 7 days.
-
Avoid facial, chemical peelings, or laser treatments on the treated site until they are fully healed.
-
No makeup, eyebrow pencil, and other facial products on the brow area until they are fully healed.
-
No tanning, waxing or threading until they are fully healed.
-
Avoid using any Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products close to the eyebrow area until it is fully healed. Moisturizers, face washes, BB/CC creams and makeup primers may contain acid.
-
Avoid Botox until after your touch-up appointment. Botox doesn't always kick in evenly, please let your provider know that you had your eyebrows done.
The Healing Stages
-
Day 1-7: Your brows will be 2 shades darker due to the pigment being oxidized and drying. This is NOT the final color. Your pigment will lighten 10-30% when it peels off.
-
Day 7-14: You will notice itchiness, peeling, and cracking. DO NOT scratch, rub or pick at it. Your brows will appear extremely light. In some cases the pigment may DISAPPEAR and scab off, often times in patches. Eyebrows will look patchy and uneven during the healing process.
-
Day 14-28: Your skin will begin to regenerate, your color will start lifting to the surface and get darker week by week.
-
Day 28: This is the final result of the shape and color. Touchups are necessary for optimal results.
